BOOKING POLICIES
Important! Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. comply with these Terms and Conditions.

Reservations and Payment
A deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm the reservation. We accept the following U.S. credit cards: American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa. Apex does not accept non-U.S. credit cards. For security reasons, we do not accept third-party purchases. The credit card holder must be a passenger. For your safety, documents will only be delivered to the credit card holders billing address. Apex will not accept responsibility for document delivery to any apartment building without a doorman or concierge.

Cancellations and Refunds
All refunds are subject to a $50 cancellation charge per adult. This charge will be in addition to any cancellation charges imposed by airlines and/or hotels. Airline tickets are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

Revisions & Changes
There will be a charge for an initial revision or for long distance calls and cables. Each additional revision will be charged $12.50 per booking.
Airlines may impose additional change fees of up to $200 per reservation, plus any charges or increases in airfare for changes. Hotels also may impose additional fees for changes.

Express Handling Fee
Bookings made within three weeks of travel (within 21 days of departure) are subject to an express handling charge of $35 which will be added to the Total Package Price under Miscellaneous Fees.

Not Included in Package Price
While traveling you may incur additional expenses that are not included in your package price, including, but not limited to the following:

Tipping and Porterage
Our package price does not include porterage at airport and hotels; tips to local representatives, sightseeing guides, restaurant employees, hotel bellmen and chambermaids; wines, liquors, laundry or any other items of a personal nature as well as any items not specifically mentioned within itinerary. Tipping is left to your discretion.

Car, Moped or Scooter Rental
Car rental rates for packages that include a car do not include gasoline, taxes, optional insurance, CDW, underage and additional driver charges or airport charges. These charges are payable to the car rental company directly.

Local Taxes and Service Charges
Local room tax, energy surcharges and service charges on room and meals are not included unless specified. Taxes and service charges are based on the hotel's daily room tariff and not on the land package price. Local governments may impose additional taxes including, but not limited to, departure taxes which may not be included in your package price.

Flight Delays
Airlines are not required by law to pay for en route expenses, meals, hotels, taxis, and phone calls if your flight is delayed for any reason.

Refunds for Unused Services
Unused hotel nights are refundable only if they cover a minimum of two consecutive nights and only to the extent that the tour operator receives refund from the hotels, after deducting cancellation charges levied by hotel, if any. Unused transfers and/or sightseeing tours included in the basic tours will only be refunded only to the extent that the tour operator receives a refund from the supplier. To get a prompt refund for unused services, clients must submit written proof from the hotel or other operator that services were unused and are refundable. A check-out bill from the hotel in question will be accepted in lieu of special certification. If no proof is furnished, a refund may be made pending an investigation, which may take up to three months. TO BE ACCEPTED, ALL REFUND CLAIMS MUST BE PRESENTED NO LATER THAN 30 DAYS AFTER THE TRIP HAS ENDED. No refund or adjustment will be made for any changes, cancellations or modifications of services provided in this itinerary, if the tour participant makes such changes during the tour.

Participating Carriers
These tours are sold in conjunction with the services of all approved ARC and IATA member carriers. Government regulations now enable air carriers to increase their fares on 24-hour notice.

Flight Confirmation
We recommend that you reconfirm exact flight times with the carrier prior to departure. Air travelers are required to check in at least 2 hours prior to departure time and must report to the gate at least 20 minutes prior to departure time. Failure to comply with this regulation may result in the loss of your seat to another passenger.

Car, Moped or Scooter Rental
A valid Driver's License, major credit card and/or large cash deposit is necessary for car rentals. All countries have a minimum age requirement

Proof of Citizenship
Apex recommends a valid passport be used for proof of citizenship when traveling to international destinations; however, some destinations will accept a birth certificate or certificate of naturalization for U.S.
citizens when presented with a photo I.D. HOWEVER, SOME DESTINATIONS NOW ACCEPT PASSPORTS ONLY. U.S. CITIZENS MAY CONTACT THE U.S. PASSPORT AGENCY IN WASHINGTON DC AT (202) 647-0518 FOR INFORMATION. Married or divorced women traveling under names other than what appears on their travel documents must supply a marriage license and/or divorce decree. SINGLE PARENTS TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN, OR CHILDREN TRAVELING ALONE WILL REQUIRE SPECIAL DOCUMENTATION. MINORS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE TRAVELING TO MEXICO MUST TRAVEL WITH THE CONSENT OF BOTH PARENTS. If a minor is traveling to Mexico with only one parent, the parent must present a notarized letter of consent from the absent parent or a copy of the legal document giving that parent sole custody. If the absent parent is deceased, a copy of the death certificate is necessary. If a minor is traveling to Mexico without legal parents, a notarized letter of consent must be submitted and signed by the legal parents. It is the traveler's responsibility to provide proper documentation. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE IF IMPROPER DOCUMENTATION RESULTS IN DENIED BOARDING OR ENTRY. If you are not a U.S. citizen be certain to check with the consulate of the country you are traveling to for full entry requirements (Visas may be required in addition to passports). ALL PASSENGERS ARE NOW REQUIRED TO CARRY SOME FORM OF OFFICIAL PHOTO IDENTIFICATION. REQUIREMENTS MAY CHANGE SO WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU VERIFY ANY IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS WITH THE TOURIST OFFICE OR CONSULATE BEFORE YOU TRAVEL.

Hazardous Conditions
Apex Trafvel has no special knowledge of and shall not be liable for, hazardous conditions at international destinations, including, but not limited to, weather hazards, health hazards, unsafe conditions, suppliers'
bankruptcies or the suitability for disabled persons of any portion of the tour. For information regarding possible dangers at international destinations (outside of the U.S.), you may contact the Travel Warning Section of the U.S. State Department at (202) 647-5225. For medical information, you may contact the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at (800) 311-3435.

We strongly recommend our Travel Protection Plan to safeguard yourself against cancellation charges and additional expenses you may incur before and after the departure of your trip. Apex Travel Protection Plan covers the
following:

  • Trip Cancellation/Interruption Insurance covering up to the total tour cost for accidental injury, sickness, death, jury duty, fire or flood to home and other covered reasons.
  • Travel Delay covering up to$1000 of additional expenses if your trip is delayed for 12 or more hours for Carrier delay, including bad weather and other covered reasons.
  • Medical Expense coverage providing payments of up to $1,500 for emergency treatment of an illness or injury.
  • Baggage and Baggage Delay Insurance covering up to $200 for lost or stolen baggage and personal effects during your trip and up to $1000 if your baggage is delayed or misdirected by your common carrier for at least 24 hours.
  • Medical Transportation Service will arrange and pay up to $300.000 to move you to a more appropriate facility if medically necessary.
  • Travel accident coverage by Common Carrier of up $500.000

In addition, Apex Travel Protection Plan includes a 24-hour hotline service, staffed by multilingual coordinators to assist you with legal, medical and related problems of an emergency nature. Coverage is provided under master group policies issued by Travel Guard Intl tel 877 248 8992 Responsibility Apex Travel of 2460 St.Louis Pl,Turlock,CA 95382, AND/OR THEIR AGENTS AND OFFICES AND/OR SUPPLIERS OF SERVICES PURSUANT TO, OR IN CONNECTION WITH, THESE ITINERARIES SHALL ACT ONLY AS AGENTS FOR THE PASSENGER IN MAKING ARRANGEMENTS FOR HOTELS, TRANSPORTATION, RESTAURANTS, OR ANY OTHER SERVICE AND DO NOT ASSUME ANY LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY INJURY, DAMAGE, DEATH, LOSS, ACCIDENT OR DELAY TO PERSON OR PROPERTY DUE TO AN ACT OF NEGLIGENCE OF, OR DEFAULT OF, ANY HOTEL, CARRIER, RESTAURANT, COMPANY OR PERSON RENDERING ANY OF THE SERVICES INCLUDED IN THE TOUR, OR BY ACT OF GOD.
FURTHER, NO RESPONSIBILITIES ARE ACCEPTED FOR ANY DAMAGE OR DELAY DUE TO SICKNESS, PILFERAGE, LABOR DISPUTES, MACHINERY BREAKDOWN, QUARANTINE, GOVERNMENT RESTRAINTS, WEATHER OR OTHER CAUSE BEYOND THEIR PERSONAL CONTROL.
NO RESPONSIBILITY IS ACCEPTED FOR ANY ADDITIONAL EXPENSE, OMISSIONS, DELAYS, RE-ROUTING OR ACTS OF ANY GOVERNMENT OR AUTHORITY. THE AIRLINES CONCERNED ARE NOT TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACT, OMISSION, OR EVENT, DURING THE TIME PASSENGERS ARE NOT ON BOARD THEIR PLANES OR CONVEYANCE. THE PASSAGE CONTRACT IN USE BY THE AIRLINES CONCERNED, WHEN ISSUED, SHALL CONSTITUTE THE SOLE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE AIRLINES AND PURCHASER OF THESE TOURS AND/OR PASSENGER. THE RIGHT IS RESERVED TO WITHDRAW ANY PROGRAM OFFERED HERE AND/OR MAKE SUCH CHANGES IN THE PROGRAM(S) AS MAY BE FOUND DESIRABLE FOR THE CONVENIENCE OF THE PARTIES AND THE PROPER CARRYING OUT OF TOUR(S). Apex Travel RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SUBSTITUTE ACCOMMODATIONS, IF NECESSARY, DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND THE CONTROL OF APEX TVL SPECIAL REQUESTS SUCH AS ROOM LOCATION, SPECIAL MEALS, OR ASSISTANCE WILL BE COMMUNICATED TO THE APPROPRIATE PARTY, BUT CANNOT BE GUARANTEED BY APEX.PRICES ARE BASED ON RATES IN EFFECT (INCLUDING FOREIGN EXCHANGE RATES) AT THE TIME OF POSTING AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.
